+ FR. LHP/DH Seth Lingford (East Troy, WI) is another upside freshman arm for the Bobcats. Standing at a strong and athletic 6-foot-2, 200-pound frame with board shoulders. The left-hander flashed feel to repeat his delivery, working down the mound with a crossfire finish, the arm worked quick and uninterrupted with noticeable arm speed from a 3/4 slot. The fastball sat 85-87 mph flashing carry up in the zone, averaging 16.5” of IVB. Showed feel to spin a quality breaking ball at 72-75 mph with an average spin rate of 2,561 rpms and -7.7” of IVB. His slider was thrown in the same velo bucket with right two-plane action, rounding off his arsenal Lingford flashed a fading changeup with -15.5” of HM.
Lingford was also a standout position player, starting the day running a 6.85 60-yard dash with easy speed. At the plate, taking perhaps the best round of the day launching multiple home runs from the left-side with consistent hard and elevated contact to the pull side reaching a max exit velo of 101.2 mph with a peak distance of 383 feet.
