Future Games 2025: INF Cooper Sievert (Wisconsin-Lutheran) had a strong all-round showing during the Future Games, showing off his toolsy makeup throughout the weekend. Sievert registered a 6.88 60-time to kick off the week on Wednesday. He then showed off the arm with a 91 mph INF velo during the defensive portion of the showcase, which was good enough for second among infielders on Team Wisconsin. At the plate, Sievert has a controlled moderate leg-lift for to stride that looks to time up the pitch into the swing and maxed out his highest exit velocity at 96.1 mph during his round of BP. Sievert had his strongest day at the plate on Saturday against Illinois, in which he produced a 2-for-3 showing with a triple and an RBI, and reached base a total of five times throughout the weekend with three walks. Cooper Sievert is one of the most tooled-up players in the 2027 class and will continue to be a high-follow name in the Badger State.

He started off his day by running a quick and bursty 6.88 seconds 60 yard dash. Next, his short, simple and repeatable right handed swing was all over the barrel during his round and maxed out at solid 96.1 mph exit velocity. It was a controlled line drive approach that was not selling out for power and this swing will play in game. During defense, he operated with smooth feet and an instinctual clock and was up to 91 mph across the infield with an accurate arm.
Sievert would go 1-for-3 with a 2-run home run during Wisconsin Lutheran's first game on Saturday. The right-handed hitter was taking controlled, aggressive swings throughout the game with clear intent in all of his at-bats. A pure gamer who also showed above-average at shortstop, Sievert is a must-know name in Wisconsin's 2027 class. 5-foot-11, 180-pound frame with present strength.

He started his day by running one of the best 60 yard dashes of the day at 6.85 seconds. The mark was tied for 12th best at the event that was loaded with talent and athletes. With the bat, Sievert produced 93 mph max exit velocity from a downhill hand path with an impressive feel for the barrel and an impressive feel to hit overall. His clean and smooth actions in the infield are Sievert’s calling card to go along with considerable arm strength. On Sunday, he was 90 mph across the infield with accuracy and showed the ability to throw from multiple arm angles. Sievert is planted firmly near the top of the list of names to know in Wisconsin.

INF/RHP Cooper Sievert (Wisconsin Lutheran, 2027) is an athletic two-way prospect who showed out well as an infielder and on the mound. He started his day with a solid 7.09 seconds 60-yard dash showing off his foot speed with quick burst. He then took his talents to the batter's box showing off impressive control of the barrel by back spinning baseball through both gaps using a downhill bat path. The freshman impressed in the infield with quality actions and a quick first step allowing him to show some range. He has plenty of arm strength to stick on the left-side of second base as he reached 88 mph on throws across. On the mound, Seivert operated in the low 80s with life out of his hand and the ability to locate the fastball. The right-hander also deployed a curveball with 11/5 shape that flashed sharp quality to the pitch. He rounded out his arsenal with a changeup with a good tunneling effect. It was an all-around solid day from the interesting two-way talent in the state.
Sievert showed off his athletic build on Friday morning and kept his opponent on their toes for 3.1 innings. Sievert has a high leg lift and utilizes his back leg for power. Sievert has a ¾ slot, short arm action that uses some effort. Fastball was clocked at 76-78 mph with the breaking ball sitting 64-66 mph.
