INF/RHP Keal Konrad (Hortonville, 2025) is a compact 5-foot-7, 174-pound athlete that impressed throughout his workout on Tuesday. Konrad started his day off by running a 7.09 60-yard dash which was one of the best times of the event. At the plate, the right-hander swings with intent and has a knack for producing hard contact averaging 87.8 mph off the bat throughout his round, peaking at 94. In the field, Konrad showed some bounce in the infield with clean actions and quick movements with an accurate arm up to 83 mph across the diamond. To finish off his day Konrad authored one of the more intriguing ‘pens of the day. Konrad showed feel to use his lower half, extending down the mound and is able to do it consistently. Out of a full and quick arm action the baseball jumps out of Konrad’s hand. Four-pitch mix with a mid-80s fastball that averaged 16.8 inches of carry from a 5-foot release height spinning at 2400+ RPMs. Konrad showed feel to spin two different breaking balls, a 11/5 low-70s curveball that he spun at 2800+, and a mid-70s slider that he spun at 2700+ with 10.1 inches of sweep on average. Rounding off his arsenal, Konrad showed a mid-70s running changeup that he was able to throw for strikes. Konrad is a name-to-know going forward in the Badger State’s incoming senior class.
