Prep Baseball Report LLC, an Illinois (United States) limited liability company, 4750 S. Vernon Ave., McCook, IL 60525 (“Prep” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to privacy and data protection. Since you are a Canadian Resident, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act and its rules (collectively, “PIPEDA”) requires that we inform you about our practices for collecting, using, and disclosing your personal data. This notice (“PIPEDA Notice”) provides additional details regarding PREP’s privacy practices as described in PREP’s Privacy Policy, including the Canadian Resident’s section.
This PIPEDA Notice only applies to the data collection practices of PREP for its websites and services directed to Canadian Residents, and the use Canadian Residents’ personally identifiable information by PREP on its website (www.prepbaseball.com) (the “Site”) and in its business (collectively “Practices and Services”). This Notice supplements the Privacy Policy. Capitalized terms not defined in this COPPA Notice are otherwise defined in the Privacy Policy.

CONSENT
We do not knowingly collect personal information from Canadian Residents unless and until we have obtained verifiable consent from you by clicking on the “Accept” button.
If you choose not to provide consent, or withdraw consent later, your access to certain features or areas of the Practices and Services may be restricted or disabled.
We take special precautions to protect your privacy. If you have any question about your privacy, PREP’s privacy practices, the use your personal information, or a particular Practice or Service, please contact us by sending an email or calling us. .
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
When you engage with PREP’s Practices and Services, we will collect or receive your personal information, either directly from you or your parent, or from third parties. We endeavor to collect only as much information as is reasonably necessary for you to participate as a player in the PREP event and may record and make available on the Site your performance and statistics. The types of information we may collect, and use include:
- First and Last Name (optional)
- Parent or Guardian Email Address
- Mailing Address, Email Address, and Phone Number
- Date of Birth
- Unique User ID
- Player videos
- Player performance statistics
- Player name, image, likeness
We may also ask for certain information that is not personally identifiable, such as:
- School Name
- School Address
- School City/District
- School Grade
We store your username and password on our system when you register for Site. We may also store the IP address from which you access the Site in connection with our use.
We use cookies, and other similar technology, to collect information about use of the Site, time spent, actions performed such as logging in and out, and the pages visited.
HOW WE USE THE INFORMATION
We use the information collected from you for both internal purposes and for display purposes, such as:
- Account Creation & Management: Creating an account or user profile, verifying age, and obtaining parental consent.
- Service Functionality: Enabling use of the Site with personalized settings. This may include communicating with you multiple times through email or other forms of communication such as video conferencing technology.
- Analytics & Improvements: Understanding how players interact with the Site to improve features, optimize performance, and enhance user experience.
- User Support: Processing and responding to inquiries or requests for technical assistance.
- Legal Compliance & Safety: Detecting security incidents, preventing fraud, and complying with legal obligations, including PIPEDA.
- Posting of player videos and performance statistic, and age, name, schools attended on the Site
We may use the non-personally identifiable data we collect to improve our Practices and Services and to deliver a better and more personalized experience.
HOW WE SHARE OR DISCLOSE INFORMATION
We do not share, sell, rent, or transfer your personal data other than as described in this section.
Some Practices and Services allow you to make information, including personal data, available for others who may view it on the Site. We may also post to the Site videos and personal information about you which can then be viewed online. We do not control the types of information you can make available or publicly post.
Your consent is not required for aggregated data, or for data that does not identify any individual or device.
If PREP is involved in a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of PREP’s assets or business, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding or event, we may transfer your personal data to the buyer or other successor.
RIGHTS
Access, Review, Update, and Deletion of Information
You have the right to access, review, delete, update, and prevent further collection of your personal information at any time. To do so, please contact us at the email or phone number listed in Section 1. We may require you to verify your identity to ensure the security of your account.
Withdrawal of Consent
You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us. Upon withdrawal, we will promptly delete your personal information from our records, unless retention is required by law. Revoking consent will limit your access to certain features within the Site.
DATA SECURITY AND RETENTION

We employ reasonable security measures (technical, administrative, and physical) designed to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.
Data Retention
PREP retains personal data in a form which permits identification for as long as necessary to provide the Practices and Services in which you are participating, or for other business purposes such as complying with our legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing our agreements. We are required by law to keep some types of information for certain periods of time (e.g., statute of limitations). When personal information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to securely delete or de-identify it.
