6/10/19: After being second in doubles (14) and third in RBI (34) for the San Diego State Aztecs during his true freshman campaign, Leonhardt has gotten off to a hot start in the NWL. At 6-foot-2, 190 pounds, the lefty has broad shoulders and tons of room left to fill out. He features a slightly open stance with a quiet rhythm, small leg kick/load, and ability to be quick to the ball on either side of the plate from the left side. He showed the ability to backspin the ball to all fields, but mainly the pull-side HR he hit in his first at bat in St. Cloud. Leonhardt is a smooth athlete who can pick it and has a plus arm (two-way guy at SDSU). Really like his upside to continue to build off his hit tool and turn all the doubles he hits into more home runs. (DeGagne)
