Although the 2019 draft has come and gone, our prospect coverage has not. We are already off and running throughout the country, beating the bushes in search of next year's MLB draft picks. This week we bring you reports from the Northwoods League. Future coverage will lead us to the USA Collegiate National Team and Cape Cod, among several others.
Joe Moran, JR, RHP, Thunder Bay, (Anderson U, IN)- Moran is a 6-foot, 195 pound RHP possessing a well- built body with broad shoulders and hips, but still has room to grow. A two-way standout at Anderson (HCAC MVP, All- Region Selection), he projects to the next level on the mound. Fastball was 89-92 and held throughout his 5 innings of work, while creating swing/miss up in the zone with riding action. His out pitch is an 10-4 shape...
