This was my first live look at the 6’4 wiry athletic projectable Ange who has been on my radar since seeing video of him during travel ball in fall of his FR. year. Needless to say the wait has been well worth it as the foundation of his profile looks very solid, but the ceiling for his potential is interestingly high. Ange started in RF and during INF/OF showed good actions moving around and a solid present arm with carry/accuracy to his throws. At the plate, he relies on a compact/direct swing from the right hand side with hands that work well to consistently put the bat on the baseball. His operation appears more handsy than aggressive with the turn of his lower half at present lending itself more to a hit over power present ability. But, with room to fill strength and polish to his operation at the plate there is realistic power potential in his future. A good athlete who is also a stand out basketball player the upside for him going forward has me circling his name as a high follow for the 2027 class going forward here on the central coast.
