Bay Area World Series 2022 - Uncommitted; Long lanky body on prototypical pitcher's build, certainly a projectable body for a rising junior pitcher, long circular arm action on backside, clean arm action, overhand slot, FB 80-83 mph, 1919 max spin, both spin and movement patterns suggest some ability to develop a sinker that can have steep late action in the zone, high 6.2 release height, CB 69-73 mph with 1864 max spin, bigger CB and can work to tighten it up or shorten it up to play off the FB, slightly lower release height vs FB release, CHG 68-72 mph with low spin which gives the pitch a chance to be a ground ball getting pitch, the body and the raw stuff are both enough to think he's got some very positive growth in his future.
Positional Profile: RHP
2 IP; 1B, K, K, K, E6, K, K, K
Body: 6-2, 160-pounds. Tall athletic frame. Will fill out nicely.
Delivery: windup has minimal movement horizontally. High leg lift into a belt high separation. Circles down to back knee and he sits deep on his back leg. Lands on a strong/stiff front leg. Loses a little on extension at release.
Arm Action: RH. Low separation, long arm circle back into an over the top release point. Consistently has his elbow up and scap loaded at front foot contact.
FB: T83, 79-82 mph. Commands the bottom of the zone and has the ability to miss bats up. Has good downward action allowing his fastball to change eye levels. Good avg spin rate of 1999 and has flashed upward to 2133.
SL: 73-75 mph. Works off the same plane as his fastball making it very hard to pick up out of his hand. Late depth. Has a secondary slider that has more of a curveball action.
