Foulds was a standout performer at the 2024 California State Games and the uncommitted 2025 two-way has not only carried that performance into an electric Sr. season so far with a dominant stat line both on the mound and at the plate. In this look I got eyes on the offensive/defensive profile for Foulds who has a bouncy, dynamic athletic profile with high-end run speed (4.05 home to 1B on a groundout to SS) which puts immense pressure on the defense with any ball he puts in play, but also once he is on bases changes the course of the game with the amount of attention that must be paid to him (has stolen 23 bases in 24 attempts this spring). Foulds works from a lower hand set with loose quickness in those hands while showing a tight turn with his lower ½ to generate impact to the pull side (just missed a leadoff HR that was caught just short of the LF fence) and leverage to the middle of the field drilled a double to RCF while remaining patient to get pitches within the zone to hit (drew a BB). Defensively, he plays SS and looks sound there, but is athletic enough to slide into CF potentially where he could be an impact defender with the quickness in his run tool. Foulds will be a strong land for a college program.
