Positional Profile: LHP/1B Physical left-handed arm with a fastball-forward attack, strike-throwing ability, and the foundation of a durable starter profile.
Body: 6-1, 221-pounds. Broad shoulders and a sturdy lower half. Built to handle innings with present strength and durability.
Delivery: Operates with a calm, methodical pace. Uses a medium leg lift and stays centered over the rubber before riding the slope downhill. Lower half works in sequence, allowing him to stay on line and finish square to the plate.
Arm Action: LH. Longer arm stroke with natural looseness. Arm works cleanly into a high three-quarter release, producing easy velocity without visible effort or violence.
FB: T86, 84-85 mph. Comes out with weight behind it and stays true through the zone. Comfortable pounding the strike zone and setting the tone early in counts, especially to the glove side. T2399, 2261 average rpm.
CB: 74-76 mph. Shows late depth with a more vertical look. Can be dropped in for strikes or expanded below the zone to change hitter eye levels. T2420, 2377 average rpm.
CH: 74-76 mph. Separation pitch with noticeable fade. Still developing consistency, but flashes feel and gives him a usable option versus right-handed hitters. T1524, 1410 average rpm.
