Uncommitted. 5-foot-8, 150-pound frame with strength in the lower-half. Showed off the bat speed on Friday night as the hit tool was on full display. Batting in the 2-spot made for a quick base-runner for this North Springs line-up. FIrst at-bat worked a two-strike count then followed with a back-side single through the infield gap for a single. Second at-bat made quick work with a first-pitch attack on a middle-in FB that two-hopped the wall in right-center, stretching it into a triple. Good swing mechanics with loose and twitchy hands that show a confident and powerful presence in the box. Simple approaches that show impressive results. He will be a fun player to watch as he continues to rise in this 2027 grad class.
Uncommitted. The smooth-swinging lefty was a standout at the plate on Monday night, collecting two hits as the hit-tool shined. Displaying loose twitchy actions in the box coupled with a well-connected swing and all-fields leverage with natural bat-to-ball to match. Uber-athletic field general in centerfield. Brown will be a name to watch at North Springs in the spring as the tools jump off the page.
