1.24.16 - Undersized 5-foot-7, 145-pound left-handed hitting outfielder. Above-average defender in the outfield. Attacks the baseball, aggressive athletic actions and plays through the baseball. Soft hands, quick footwork and clean exchange. Loose arm from a ¾ slot, throws flashed some carry and clocked at 80 mph. Offensively, fluid rhythm and flashed a short bat path at times. Balanced, slightly open stance and an opposite field approach. Registered an exit velocity of 75 mph. Also, ran a 7.67 laser-timed 60.

8.7.15 - 5-foot-6, 145-pound left-handed hitting outfielder impressed defensively.  Gaytan showed range and athleticism during game play with an outstanding diving catch down the left line. Threw 80 mph from the outfield and Showed good actions, playing through the ball and having accurate throws to the plate. Hits from a slightly open setup, hands by the ears, small load, quiet approach.  Showed good plate discipline, and aggressive base running going 3-3 in game play with a walk, three singles (one opposite field), and a stolen base. Exit velocity was 77 mph off the tee. Ran a 7.52 60 and was 4.51 home to first in game play.
