8/9/13 - 6-foot-3, 185-pound, athletic, lanky pitcher.  On the mound he throws from an over-the-top arm slot with a long arm action.  His fastball had occasional run to it, from a quality downhill angle, at 78-81 mph, flashing 82 mph.  His only off-speed offering is a curveball with 11/5 tilt.  He is able to throw it consistently for strikes at 68-69 mph.  In one inning of work he struck one hitter out.

2/17/13 - Lanky frame, average build, 6-foot-2, 180-pound right handed pitcher. Arm works from an over the top arm slot, long arm action, shows some stiffness. Fastball is straight, 77-80 mph, touching 81 mph. Showed two breaking balls. Curveball showed 12/6 action, showed the ability to command it at the bottom of the zone, gradual bend, 65-66 mph. Slider showed similar action to curveball, throw harder, 71-75, lacked command. Changeup has some arm side run, 72-70 mph, thrown for strikes.

6/12/12 Mack is a 6-foot-2, 165-pound long-limbed right-handed pitcher who throws from an over the top arm angle. Mack’s fastball sat in the 79-81 mph range. He also exhibited a changeup that sat at 69-71 mph and a curveball that sat at 63-67 mph. As Mack fills into his frame, look for a velocity spike in the coming years.
