OF Andrew Potthoff, Pleasant Plains, 2028 Athletic 5-foot-10, 170-pounds. Batted fifth and started in right field. He has a mature approach at the plate for his age, keeps things simple, and tries to take what the pitcher gives him. Left-handed hitter, relaxed setup, slight rhythm in the hands pre-pitch, short stride, quick hands, direct path that looks to keep the ball on a line, and uses the whole field. He made consecutive diving plays in right field to take away would-be extra bases and played the game hard on both sides. Potthoff will be a name to follow throughout the spring and future years to come.
