Delivery: Fluid tempo, side-steps in the windup into a controlled leg-lift, holds pre-bend in the back knee, works in-line, athletic finish.
Arm Action: RH. Long arm out of a 3/4 slot.
FB: T81, 78-80 mph. Plays with natural sink and run. T1985, 1880 average rpm.
CB: 69-71 mph. Shorter 10/4 shape with some feel for the zone. T2183, 1913 average rpm.
CH: 77-77 mph. Similar profile to the FB, clean out of the hand with sink. T1818, 1808 average rpm.
Uncommitted. Lean, 5-foot-11, 160-pound frame. Started on the mound and threw it well over his seven innings of work, scattering six hits, one earned run, two walks and eight strikeouts. He attacked the zone with his fastball, cruising in the 80-82 mph range and going to a slider at 64-71 mph in any count and for swing/miss, playing with sweeping action at times and occasionally 11/5 shape. He flashed a changeup at 75 mph to change the pace.
