9/21/25

Verbally committed to Illinois Valley CC.

7/24/25
A filled-out and athletic, 6-foot-3, 195-pound frame, Bowels got the start Thursday morning and tossed a strong five innings. The right-hander struck out five, while allowing two runs on four hits and four walks. Working with a two-pitch mix, the fastball was sitting 81-84 mph with late ride at the top of the zone, and the slider was sitting 73-75 mph with late sweep. Bowels would also flash a promising changeup with arm-side fade. Working with high intent on the mound from a fluid delivery, followed by loose, lower ¾ arm action. Bowles was locating his slider effectively on the outside corner while collecting whiffs, also working out of an early bases-loaded jam.
7/03/25

Uncommitted. 6-foot-3, 195-pound frame with room to add strength. Bowles showed well on Sunday as he went 1-for-4 at the plate. The right-handed hitter operates from a tall base with a toe-tap trigger. Strong hands from a compact swing. Connected on a line drive to right field for a two-run double.
