INF Blake Jenner, Providence Catholic, 2025
Parkland JC commit, currently ranked No. 221 in the state. Lean 5-foot-11, 175-pound frame. Batted fifth and started at second base. Jenner impressed with his overall game; hustling out of the box every time and showing off noticeable range on the infield. Offensively, the right-handed hitter has rhythm throughout his pre-pitch setup, utilizes a toe-tap trigger, and shows a direct path. He posted a 4.45 home-to-first time twice, and continued to hustle out of the box on a pair of flyouts. Defensively, he showed to be a reliable defender at second, and also made an impressive catch near the fence in foul territory earlier in the game. He has athletic footwork and utilizes a two-hand gather out front. Jenner is also known to be a reliable defensive catcher as well, and will see time behind the plate for the Celtics this spring.
