Lewis & Clark CC commit. Currently ranked No. 288 in the state. Twitchy 5-foot-6, 147-pound frame. Batted second and played centerfield. The right-handed hitter was on the barrel for a pull-side double in his second at-bat. He works from a wider base with some pre-pitch rhythm in his hands, and his swing has length through the zone paired with quick hands. Defensively, his arm showed above-average strength during pregame and it translated in-game, while also showing the ability to cover ground in center.
INF/OF Braxton Yates (Triad, 2026) had a strong showing at the plate throughout gameplay. A scrappy right-handed hitter, he showed to be a tough out with each at-bat. He fouls pitches off and doesn’t chase much out of the zone, while using a whole-fields approach, unafraid to take what the opposing pitcher gives him to hit. He tallied three hits, two walks, and three stolen bases throughout the event. Yates also had a quality showing during the workout, running a 6.91 60 and posting an average EV of 87.5 mph during batting practice.
