2.14.16 - 6-foot-2, 180-pound right-handed pitcher, long and athletic, projectable body. Tall and fall delivery, regular effort, some rhythm, timing can improve. Arm action is long, high ¾ slot, some arm strength. Fastball flashed heavy feel when down, 83-84 mph, touched 85 mph. Curveball has 11/5 shape, 68-70 mph, flashed feel, tight rotation, occasional slurve feel. Changeup has control, 76-77 mph, firm pitch, thrown with arm speed.

1.31.16 - 6-foot-2, 180-pound right-handed hitting RHP/OF with a lanky, athletic frame. On the mound works from a high ¾ arm angle with a long, quick arm action. Tall and fall, online delivery with a square landing, athletic finish, and regular effort. Fastball sat 82-84 mph. Curveball showed inconsistent shape, mostly 11-5 at 68-71 mph. Maintained armspeed on changeup that showed slight sinking action at 76-79 mph. Defensively has a long arm action from an over the top arm slot. Accurate throws with carry at 85 mph from the outfield. Athletic actions, playing thru the ball with a clan exchange. Offensively hits from a balanced, open setup with a long stride. Line drive, gap to gap hitter with early rhythm and a level path. Showed strength thru contact with 86 mph exit velocity from a tee. Home to first at 4.67.

7.15.15 - 6-foot-2, 160-pound lanky, athletic, projectable build right-handed hitting outfielder. Offensively, starts from an open, tall setup and short stride. Pre-pitch rhythm and maintains rhythm and balance through contact. Recorded an exit velocity of 80 mph off of a tee. Defensively, throws from a high ¾ arm slot, long arm action. Clocked at 78 mph from the outfield. Also, ran a 7.32 60 yard dash.

1.18.15 - 6-foot-2, 160-pound lanky and athletic right-handed hitting RHP/OF hits from an open setup, hands load back, arm bars out, short stride, double taps stride at times, showed a right-centerfield approach during batting practice, long, level bat path, 71 mph exit velocity. Defensively, impressed with outfield arm strength, throwing 81 mph from a long, loose, easy, high ¾ arm slot with accuracy. Truitt’s future may be on the mound, where he take the same loose arm action to the hill, delivering 77-79 mph fastballs with minimal effort. Tall/fall type delivery, smooth rhythm, shoulders stay level throughout delivery, stride direction stays in line with home plate, lands square and athletic. 68-70 mph curveball flashes 11/5 shape, 71-74 mph slider flashes similar shape to curveball, thrown a bit harder. Did not throw a changeup. 10.21.14 - 6-foot-1, 155-pound lanky and athletic right-handed hitting outfielder/right-handed pitcher hits from an open setup, hands load back, short stride, long, slightly uphill bat path produced 76 mph exit velocity off the tee. Defensively, threw 80 mph in the outfield from long, over-the-top arm slot. Impressed more with projectability on the mound. Fastball sat 79-81 mph with downhill angle from long, loose, high ¾ slot, toe up at balance point, tall-and-fall type delivery, works slightly across his body, lands slightly closed, spins off heel, athletic finish, slide steps from the stretch occasionally. 11/5 curveball sat 70-73 mph with sharp break. 74-76 mph slider with 10/4 shape and true slider tilt is a plus pitch for age level.
