Southwestern Illinois JC commit. Athletic 5-foot-6, 155-pound frame. Started at short and hit out of the lead-off position. Heinold showed well on Saturday as he went 1-for-4 at the plate. The right-handed hitter operates from an upright stance with a slight bend in his back leg, toe-tap trigger into a short stride. Twitchy pre-pitch movement. Compact swing that has a slight uphill bat path with strong hands. Connected on a single up the middle early in the game. Showed smooth actions at short.
