Lewis & Clark CC commit. Athletic 5-foot-8, 150-pound frame with room to add strength. Started at short and hit out of the lead-off position. Fultz impressed Thursday night as he went 2-for-4 at the plate. The right-handed hitter operates from a tall, balanced base with leg lift into a stride. Strong hands with a pure swing that is long through the zone. Uphill bat path that has a whole field approach. Clark connected on a single in each of his first two plate appearances. Showed off his patient approach with a walk in his fourth plate appearance. Smooth defender at short. Hopped on the mound in relief. Fultz threw two scoreless innings, allowing two hits and no walks while striking out one batter, sitting in the low 80s with his fastball.
