Louisville signee currently ranked No. 9 in the state and No. 308 nationally had a solid all-around showing Monday. Offensively, he went 1-for-3, coming around to score two of the Knights’ three runs in the game. Mowry has a hitterish look about him in the box from the right side at an athletic 5-foot-11, 233-pounds with some present strength throughout the frame. His swing works direct to the ball and he is able to create extension through contact. Defensively, he has a commanding presence behind the dish and looks the part to go with his leadership qualities. He has flexible hips and repeatedly showed comfortable actions out of the crouch, displaying soft hands and the ability to present pitches at a high level. A willing blocker as well, Mowry looked comfortable catching a high-level arm in Luke Mensik throughout the game.

Athletic hands, compact swing with bat speed, athletic out of the box, line drive hitter with power, gap-to-gap approach. Had two hits on the day including a solo home run to the pull side and a two run double to the opposite gap. Highly athletic defender with soft hands and a quick exchange. Throws play accurately and with carry out of a loose arm action.
