MIF Derek Ittner (Lake Park, 2024) stood out thanks to his motor, foot speed and all-around solid performance throughout the two days. The 5-foot-8, 150-pound, right-handed hitter ran a 6.88 60, was 83 mph across the infield and showed easy, smooth defensive actions. Offensively, he stays short to the baseball and controls the barrel. Athletic middle infielder to follow that can handle the bat.
Positional Profile: SS/OF
Body: 5-8, 150-pounds.
Hit: RHH. Open setup, high leg lift into load, gains ground. Slightly uphill path, short to the ball, in rhythm and on the barrel at times.
Power: 92 max exit velocity, averaged 82.7 mph. 348’ max distance.
Arm: RH. INF - 83 mph. Short arm circle, whippy, aggressive arm, changes slots.
Defense: Athletic actions, range up the middle with ease, clean transfer.
Run: 6.88 runner in the 60.
Uncommitted. Ittner had an impressive week going 10-for-14 (.714 avg.) with four triples, a double, nine RBIs, and 10 runs scored. Against Sheldon, Ittner was 2-for-3 with one RBI, two runs scored, and one walk. He went a perfect 3-for-3 in both of their games against Westview and St. Helens. He added a triple, double, three RBIs, and three runs scored against Westview, and a triple with two RBIs, and two runs scored against St. Helens. He ended the week against Cascade going 2-for-2 with two triples, three RBIs, and two runs scored.

Body: 5-7, 140-pounds. Well-proportioned frame.
Hit: RHH. Athletic/crouched setup with weight shifted to his back leg, knee-knocks into a long stride, minimal hand movements during stride. Quick hands, works with intent and rotates well. Short path, flat to contact. Flashed some bat strength off the barrel.
Power: 88.27 max exit velocity, averaged 80.63 mph. 277’ max distance.
Arm: RH. INF - 76 mph. Long arm action, arm flashed carry.
Defense: Plays fast, attacks the baseball at times, reliable hands, plays through the baseball.
Run: 6.99 runner in the 60.
