Uncommitted, stands in a 5-foot-10, 185-pound frame with well-proportioned strength. Started at third base and batted fifth. Finished the day 2-for-2 with a double, run and one walk. Right-handed hitter, worked direct to the ball with an easy swing, worked slightly uphill through the zone. Defensively, sure-handed with quality actions to both sides - remains an uncommitted name-to-follow in the class.
4/29/24
Uncommitted. Listed at 5-foot-11, 170-pounds with room for more to come. Started at third base and batted fifth. Showed well in both games for the Pioneers, finishing 4-for-8 with two RBIs and two runs scored, including a clutch RBI single in the bottom of the seventh inning of their game against Springfield to tie it up and take the game to extra innings. He’s a right-handed hitter at the plate, showed an easy load with short, direct hands and a flatter bat path. Defensively impressed, making a play to his glove side and making a throw on the run to first base to record the out. Has shown well in IO throughout multiple looks this spring. A name to follow in the state’s sophomore class.
