Homerding, 5-foot-6, 130-pound athletic frame, had an extremely impressive first game showing maturity and confidence in the box. In his first at-bat, he drilled a ball into the LF-CF gap for an easy standup double. He would also later single, but was most impressive through all his at-bats was his presence at the plate. Homerding showed extreme confidence and maturity in the box. Every pitch he was ready, knowing what he was looking for and taking pitches with confidence. Overall, he has a high zone awareness paired with a high hitter's IQ.
