Uncommitted. Strong 6-foot-2, 215-pound build. Started at catcher and hit in the clean up spot. Kreke did damage at the plate going 2-for-3 with a walk, and three RBI. Upright stance with a slight knee bend, and a leg lift into a stride. Compact swing that has a slight uphill bat path. Kreke began his evening with a hard single right back up the middle driving in a run, and later blasted a two-run home run to left to put the game away. Defensively, quality receiving actions and showed a strong arm that played on a line down to second. A must-follow uncommitted name in Illinois’ junior class.
Uncommitted. Strong 6-foot-2, 215-pound frame. Started behind the plate and hit out of the five-hole. Kreke impressed on Friday as he went 1-for-2 at the plate while getting hit by two pitches. The right-handed hitter operates from a wide, bent stance with a small leg lift. Strong hands with an uphill bat path. Easy power with a whole field approach. Got the barrel on the ball with a line-drive down the third-base line for an RBI single. Smooth receiver behind the plate.
C Jason Kreke, Teutopils, 2026 Uncommitted. A strong and sturdy 6-foot-2, 215-pounds. Batted fifth and started behind the plate for the Wooden Shoes. Kreke was on the barrel, while showing evident strength with an opposite-field home run. Right-handed hitter, quiet setup, minimal hands load and short stride, uphill path with intent to lift, used the middle/opposite fields. Finished with two hits, a walk, and three RBI.
