CIF Jorey Myren (Rochester, 2026) was on the barrel often in BP and took one of the day’s more complete rounds. A left-handed hitter, Myren’s fluid to contact and stays in rhythm with a natural feel for elevated contact off his barrel. He averaged 90.1 mph per batted ball, the highest mark of the event, and that mark wasn’t too far off his peak (94 mph), indicating that he routinely produced hard contact. Myren’s average (280 ft.) and peak (344 ft.) batted distance marks also finished near the top of this event’s batted ball leaderboards.

Hit: SH. Open setup, tight hand tuck at load, leg kick trigger. Fluid bat path, creates leverage through contact and consistently elevates the baseball off the barrel. Hits in rhythm, stays balanced and repeats. Easy gap-to-gap strength. 71.4 mph bat speed with 7 G’s of rotational acceleration.
Power: 94 max exit velocity, averaged 90.1 mph. 344’ max distance.
Arm: RH. INF - 81 mph. Long arm swing, high 3/4 finish.
Defense: Patient to the baseball. Hands work out front, steady glovework, clean to release. Confident glove on the move, clean double play feed.
Run: 7.87 runner in the 60.
