Started on the mound against Marist, went three innings, four hits, one earned run, struck out four and walked three on a favorable day to be a hitter; wind was blowing out to center field. Repeatable delivery with rhythm, stays on-line, lands square and finishes athletically. Arm works long and clean from a high ¾ slot. Fastball sat 80-84 mph throughout start, works mostly straight, occasional arm-side-run. Went to his slider often, throws aggressively, feel, 2/8 shape, flashed late action, gets swings-and-misses at times; 73-76 mph. Changeup, used sparingly, 76-79 mph. One of the top unsigned senior left-handed arms in Illinois.

8.9.16 - 6-foot-5, 180-pound, lanky, athletic, left-handed pitcher. On the mound, works only from the stretch. Pitches with smooth rhythm, stays in-line, lands square, finishes athletically. Long arm action from a high ¾ slot. Fastball, arm side run, down in the zone, heavy action, 81-84 mph. Slider, 1/7 shape, tight, short break, 70-73 mph. Changeup, maintains arm speed well, works mostly straight, 72-73 mph.
