Drafted in the 36th Round by the Atlanta Braves ... With less than 600 students at his high school located near the southern tip of Illinois, Hileman flew under PBRs radar. That is, until the summer, when the multi-talented left-handed Hileman earned an invitation to the Area Code Games and had a big season for the Southern Illinois Bullets. During the spring season, Hileman batted .482 with five home runs and 41 RBI. On the mound he went 6-4 with a 2.52 ERA. Verbally committed to Baylor.
