8.6.14 5-foot-11, 195-pound muscularly built, right-handed hitting 3B/1B hit from an open setup, short stride, hands start high, drop down and back smoothly during load, creating short, quick, level bat path with 77 mph exit velocity.  Defensively, took infield at shortstop, throwing 74 mph across the diamond from short, over the top arm slot with some accuracy.  Ran a 7.17 60 and 4.54 seconds from home to first.

6/26/13 - The 5-foot-11, 195-pound third-baseman showed solid offensive capabilities. Brown displayed bat speed at the plate, making consistent contact hitting line drives with occasional gap power. His exit velocity was 75 mph off the tee. Defensively, he showed an athletic glove fielding cleanly, making throws at 73 mph across the infield. Brown’s offensive abilities project well and make him a prospect to follow. Â

1/20/13 - 5-foot-10, 170-pound catcher. Offensively hits from balanced setup, smooth load, short stride, lower half is involved, good balance throughout, gets extension, top hand works well, flashes signs of power. Defensively, stands up quickly out of crouch, sits high, arm shows effort.
