McCoy’s bat continues to impress, minimal effort in the swing, hands work direct to the ball, and creates easy pop off the bat when contact is made. Tallied one hit in the game - an RBI double off the top of the right-center field wall. Clean defensive actions at third base with an above-average arm across the diamond. Started at third base and batted fourth. Finished the day with a near-home run double and one RBI. Impressed at the plate in this look with his fluid load that produces easy power when contact is made, sending balls to the outfield in each of his at-bats. Plays a clean third base, and has shown a strong arm across the diamond. Uncommitted follow in the 2025 class.

Impressed defensively, showed fluid footwork, shuffle steps on throws across the diamond and showed a strong and accurate arm across the diamond. Looked the part at the plate with a slightly open stance. Hands load high and work down through the zone, didn’t record a hit in the game, but gave an intriguing look throughout.
