INF Nolan Galla (St. Francis) is another prospect still on the market that showed advanced athleticism. Galla, a 5-foot-10, 155-pound, right-handed hitter set the mark with his 37.1 inch vertical, which is one of the top numbers we have seen throughout the calendar year. Galla also ran a 6.87 60, was 88 mph across the infield with a peak exit velocity of 95 mph. Offensively, it's a handsy, simple right-handed swing with easy jump off the barrel when it syncs up. Name to know in the 2025 class.

Xavier commit. Currently ranked No. 57 in the state. High-waisted, 5-foot-10, 155-pound frame, lean and wiry with all sorts of room to fill out. Galla started at shortstop and hit out of the leadoff spot for the Celtics, finishing the day 1-for-3 with a run scored. The right-handed hitter was ready to do damage, taking the first pitch of the game back up the middle for a single, displaying quick/direct hands to the ball. On the infield, Galla boasts athletic, fluid actions with soft hands and active footwork, playing through the ball with timing. His arm plays true across the diamond with accuracy and carry.

MIF Nolan Galla (Providence Catholic, 2025; Xavier commit) is a highly projectable 5-foot-10, 155-pounds with more strength on the way. He’s a sure-handed defender with smooth actions that projects up the middle, pairing with a quick arm that’s accurate on throws across the diamond. At the plate, Galla has a simple right-handed swing with a quick and direct path to the ball, recording a single to left field in this look. Galla is currently ranked No. 39 in the state’s 2025 class.

Xavier commit. Currently ranked No. 24 in the state. Lean, athletic frame with plenty of room to add on strength. Hit in the leadoff spot and played shortstop for the Celtics, impressing on both sides of the ball throughout the day. Offensively, the right-handed hitter has some pre-pitch rhythm, moving into a flat path that stays through the zone, swing projects and should be complimented with some more power as he continues to fill out, found a couple barrels on the day with a single and a line-out to left. Defensively, has easy range to both sides of his glove with athletic feet. His hands are soft and pair with a quick/clean transfer, has some confidence to his actions. His arm has serviceable strength across the diamond, playing with accuracy and on the move. High-follow 2025 middle infielder with noteworthy upside. 

Xavier commit, currently ranked No. 26 in the Illinois’ 2025 class. 5-foot-11, 155-pound, lean, athletic, right-handed hitting shortstop. Bouncy, high-motor prospect that plays with all kinds of pace and energy to his game. Led off and started at shortstop. Showed quick hands, present bat speed and direct, whole field approach throughout. Finished 2-for-2 with a double, three runs scored, two walks and a stolen base.  In his first at-bat, barreled a ground ball down the left-field line for a double, 4.48 on the turn. Sprayed a line-drive single to right-field in his third at bat. Highly-intriguing, athletic sophomore with all kinds of ceiling left to tap into.
