Delivery: Drop and drive delivery, works to open side with some effort, finishes over front side.
Arm Action: RH. High 3/4 slot, works with some length.
FB: T86, 85-86 mph. Four seam fastball plays straight.
CB: 71-72 mph. Gradual action, thrown with arm speed at times, worked best out of the stretch.
CH: 78-80 mph. Straight change, showed feel for the zone, near fastball arm speed.
6-foot-2, 175-pound right-handed pitcher with lean frame, projection. Drop-and-drive type, slight hip turn at balance point, hides the ball well, throws from over-the-top slot. Deception in delivery helped keep opposition off balance all afternoon. Fastball, mostly straight, played above its velo, sat 78-83 mph. Curveball, 12/6 shape, depth, feel for zone, ability to drop in for strikes, flashed sharp, 66-69 mph. Changeup, straight, thrown at arm speed. Held No. 16-ranked Oak Park-River Forest hitless in three innings of work.
