Fluid rhythm, well above average bat speed, 90 mph exit velocity from the tee. Bat has pop, lower half works aggressively, hits off back side, hard contact, squared the baseball up regularly with authority. Defensively hands work well, feet lack quickness, arm action work from an over the top slot, 77 mph across the diamond. Projects as a power hitting first baseman at the next level.

10/21/12 - Rogers is a physical 6-foot-4, 225-pound two-way player who showed a well-rounded game. Offensively, Rogers showed power to his pull side, displaying an aggressive swing. He showed excellent bat speed and hit with a short stride which should project well the further he progresses. On the mound, Rogers threw from an over the top slot delivering strikes with his fastball at 77-80 mph. His curveball showed sharp action with some 12/6 tendencies while also commanding the strike zone. Rogers also threw a change up at 72-76 mph that showed control.
