Positional Profile: RHP
Body: 6-1, 190-pounds. Wide-shouldered build; strong lower half.
Delivery: Quick tall/fall type delivery, high leg kick at balance point, lands square and works in line to target, throws with some effort.
Arm Action: RH. Long and loose arm action, high 3/4 slot.
FB: T81, 80-81 mph. Natural arm-side run that showed some upward ride at times; strikes.
CB: 67-70 mph. Low-spin 11/5 shape.
CH: 73-74 mph. Fastball arm speed and intent; occasionally showed sink.
5-foot-8, 150-pound, right-handed hitting two-way prospect. On the mound, right-handed pitcher, tilt and topple style, high front side, in line directionally, closed toe landing, with some athleticism in finish. Long, loose arm action with an over the top slot, regular effort involved. Fastball was straight, thrown for strikes, sat 66-67 mph. Curveball, 12/6 shape, gradual break, in the zone, 56-58 mph. Changeup maintained fastball arm speed, faded, ranged 62-65 mph. At the plate, right-handed hitter, wide setup, short toe tap trigger with a minimal hand load. Long bat path, line-drive approach and exit velocity topped 73 mph off a tee. Defensively, steady footwork, clean, long transfer, long arm action with a high ¾ slot. Throws topped 64 mph across the diamond. Ran a 8.99 laser-timed 60.
5-foot-7, 145-pound, multi-positional prospect. On the mound, throws from a high ¾ arm slot with long action. Effort in delivery, works on-line, lands closed, and finishes upright. Straight fastball clocked at 63-65 mph. Curveball had good feel, showed 12/6 shape, gradual break, controlled the zone, clocked at 55-58 mph. Changeup thrown at near fastball arm speed, clocked at 60-62 mph. Defensivley, throws from a high ¾ arm slot with long arm action. Clocked at 60 mph across the infield. Offensively, tall, open setup, maintains balance, recorded a 70 mph exit velocity. Ran a 9.62 laser-timed 60.
