Displaying a lengthy and slim 6-foot-3, 160-pound frame with room for growth, Ryan Wollschlager was impressive on the mound for WOW Factor Stoppers. The righty was pounding the zone and hitting the corners in the four innings he pitched. Mechanically, the righty throws out of the slide step in the stretch with a long stride. He fully extends his left arm and short arms his right arm on his delivery. He is loose and relaxed and shows an over-the top arm slot. Wollschlager has a 79-82 mph fastball complemented by a 67-69 mph curveball that has 12-6 break.

Wollschlager is a long framed, wiry athlete whose body has the chance to hold a lot more weight as he matures. On the mound, Wollschlager showcases an impressive organized delivery from the ground up. His dynamic, lower effort produced fastball’s up in the 70-73 range and is coupled with a shorter, slurvy type breaking ball which he showed feel for.
