2.21.16 - 6-foot-2, 175-pound, athletically built, left-handed pitcher. Ranked No. 63 in Illinois. On the mound, quick, loose arm action out of a high ¾ window. Smooth rhythm, regular effort and some deception; slight cross-fire delivery. Fastball, thrown for strikes, heavy action with run and sink, clocked at 82-84 mph, touching 85. Curveball is a legitimate secondary pitch with plus potential; flashed sharp spin and good depth, sat 66-67 mph. Changeup, maintained arm speed, works mostly straight, slight fade at times and clocked at 70-74 mph.
9.19.14 - 6-foot, 145-pound left-handed pitcher impressed this fall with 79-81 mph fastball from high ¾ arm slot. Works significantly across his body, but does not impact his ability to throw strikes, creating a tough angle for hitters. 65-67 mph curveball with 11/5 shape was thrown for strikes, also flashes 72-74 mph changeup.
