Wisconsin-Oshkosh commit. Witchger went 8-for-10 with a double, two RBIs and three walks on the week. His most impressive performance came in their 8-0 win over Ridgewood, going 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs. He capped off the week with a perfect 3-for-3 day in their loss to Benet, scoring one run in the game.
Witchger has helped lead the Dons to a 5-0 start to the spring. In those five games he is .625 with 6 RBI's. He has also thrown out 5-10 base runners as a catcher.
Uncommitted. 5-foot-11, 165-pound frame with some room to fill out. Finished the day 2-for-3 with a double, RBI and a run scored. The right-handed hitter has a quick/short swing that stays on-time, showing no trouble handling velocity as he turned on a 90 mph fastball to hill pull-side gap for a double. Confident look in the box with the athletic right-handed swing to match.
