6/14/12 Johnson is an athletic 5-foot-8, 150-pound middle infielder who showcased his athleticism by running a 6.96 60. Johnson looked strong up the middle, taking concise routes and playing through the baseball. He showed a strong, accurate arm across the diamond that was clocked at 83 mph. At the plate, Johnson has a balanced setup and explosive bat speed, getting through the zone and barreling up baseball to all fields.

2/19/12 Johnson is a 5-foot-8, 150-pound shortstop who impressed with his smooth fielding, soft hands and all-around defensive actions. Johnson was one of the best middle-infielders at the event with his quick footwork and ability to play through the baseball, showing excellent lateral range and the ability to play the baseball on the run.  He displayed accurate throws across the diamond and was clocked at 83 mph.  Offensively, Johnson has a slightly open setup with a smooth load and short, compact swing.  He showed good extension through his swings and created some whip through the zone.  Additionally, Johnson ran a 7.23 60.

The 5-foot-7, 140-pound middle infielder moved well in the field and showed quick defensive actions. At the plate, Johnson showcased a short, balanced, line drive swing which consistently squared up the baseball. Johnson also showed some foot speed running a 7.19 60.
