Ausburn is a 6-foot-6, 190-pound prospect with a quick, loose arm that seriously projects. Ausburn sat 83-85 mph on Sunday without requiring much effort, and we’d previously seen him demonstrate some pitchability in-game. While he didn’t fill up the strike zone on Sunday, he did showcase a stand-out arsenal that includes a four-seamer packed with vertical action, an aggressive curveball that spins at a high rate for his age (2,140 rpm on average), as well as a firm changeup that he flashed confidence in. His size and athleticism down the mound create a must-follow profile here.
Positional Profile: RHP

FB: T85.2, 82.7-85.2 mph. Straight four seam fastball, plays with backspin. T1821, 1729 average rpm.
CB: 71.3-72.8 mph. 12/6 breaking ball, works over the top with above average depth. T2253, 2140 average rpm.

6-foot-4, 170-pound, long-limbed, highly-projectable right-handed bat who took a couple quality at-bats and found some barrels for Hitters during the PBR at The Rock Championships. Ausburn stays short to the ball and looks to control the barrel, an impressive feat given his extremely long levers. Ausburn finished 1-for-3 with a walk, RBI single and run scored.
6-foot-0, 135-pound right-handed pitcher for the Hitters Navy. On the mound, threw three innings against Cangelosi Sparks, striking out five of nine batters faced. He showed above-average feel of his fastball that sat 70-73 mph.
