Uncommitted. Elbrecht got the start for the Warriors and held his own against a talented Red Raiders lineup. Standing in at a sturdy 6-foot, 198-pounds, he is an up-tempo mover on the mound with a clean arm path that has arm speed out front. Elbrecht’s fastball sat 82-86 with late life through the zone, while showing some deception to the opposing hitters. He paired a slurve-type breaking ball at 69-70 mph that had quality spin (2400+ rpm), playing well off of his fastball. Elbrecht also seemed to pitch better with runners on, keeping his composure and making some of his better pitches in big spots of the game. He left the game in-line for the win but ended up with a no-decision. Elbrecht is another name to follow on a talented McHenry pitching staff. Final line: 4 IP, 6 H, 2 BB, 1 R, 0 ER, 6 K
