2025 Junior Future Games: 3B/RHP Jake Pisano (Providence Catholic, 2029) saved a number of runs with his defensive play at third base. Pisano made multiple diving/sliding plays throughout the weekend and made every play look easy. Pisano was on the barrel throughout the weekend though only one found the grass. The left-hander has a smooth swing with a lanky 6-foot-2, 160-pound frame. On the mound Pisano was up to 80 mph w/ sink on his fastball and showed a higher spinning curveball at 67-69 mph. An interesting prospect heading to Providence Catholic.
RHP Jake Pisano (Providence Catholic, 2029) showed off some of the more premier arm-strength on the day. He’s highly projectable standing in at 6-foot-2, 160-pounds with lean, wiry levers. He has a loose and whippy arm that plays from a lower release window, works in-line from a shorter balance point and leg-lift. His fastball played 80-82 mph and set up a curveball in the upper-60s, spinning over 2,200 rpm at times. In gameplay, he struck out two in one scoreless inning of work.
Positional Profile: RHP/3B
Body: 6-2, 160-pounds.
Delivery: Simple and controlled delivery, medium leg kick into balance point, tall/fall lower-half.
Arm Action: RH. Loose arm action, 3/4 slot.
FB: T82, 80-81 mph. Jump and hop with natural run, explodes through the zone. T2122, 1964 average rpm.
CB: 67-69 mph. Sharp 11/5 shape with depth, maintains arm speed. T2246, 2158 average rpm.
