He’s an athletic defender with easy range to both sides of his glove, pairing with soft/confident hands that work in sync with his feet through the ball. At the plate, the right-handed hitter took pitches out of the zone with confidence, also appearing extremely comfortable in the box. Uncommitted, strong frame at 5’11” 170lbs. Got a good look at Netcel on both sides of the ball during pool play. He certainly looks the part of a solid middle infielder, showing off some rangy athleticism and a solid arm. The hands looked smooth, and he really impressed up the middle of the field. At the plate, he sets up neutral and uses a minimal leg lift for timing. It’s a fairly compact swing with good feel for the barrel and a solid approach. Works through the middle of the field and keeps the barrel on plane throughout the swing. Netcel is an above-average defender that should keep producing on the offensive side with solid bat to ball skills and strength in the frame.
