6-foot, 157-pound, athletically-built, right-handed hitting outfielder continued to show off his above-average athleticism running a 6.83 60, one of the top 60s for 2029 prospect. At the plate, he has a twitchy, flat swing with line-drive intent while peaking at 88 mph off the bat. Defensively, he is an above-average outfield defender with athletic actions, feel for the position and topped at 82 mph.

2025 Junior Future Games: OF/RHP Tyler Lanzi (Providence Catholic, 2029) had one of the most intriguing performances at the showcase. Lanzi ran a 7.10 60-yard dash, tossed 80 mph from the outfield, and had a max EV of 92 mph, while working line drives throughout. Lanzi continued his success in gameplay as he tallied five hits in 11 ABs, two RBIs, three runs, and six stolen bases. Lanzi is quick and athletic on the bases and can be on third in two pitches every time he reaches base. Lanzi was important to our offense, aggressive, athletic, and smart on the bases. The tools are there for Lanzi and will continue to get better as he gets stronger. A defiant follow.
OF/RHP Tyler Lanzi (Providence Catholic, 2029) was among the event leaders in numerous categories; 60 (6.88), outfield velocity (81 mph), max exit velocity (92 mph), and average exit velocity (82 mph). He stands at an athletic 6-foot, 160-pounds with some present strength throughout the frame. His swing played athletically with bat speed both during batting practice and in-game as he went 3-for-3 with two doubles and a triple. Lanzi also tossed a scoreless inning on the mound, topping out at 77 mph with his fastball, and mixing in a 64-66 mph curveball for strikes (71%).
