Colton Sims: 3B/1B, (2025) Shawnee Mission East, KS. 6-foot-1, 170-pound lanky frame. During batting practice, the right-handed hitters best exit velocity was 80 mph. Begins in a balanced stance with a tight load, then uses a controlled stride. Bat speed was above average, showed simple swing plane and level finish. Found multiple barrels with some loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Projectable in the infield, his best throw was recorded at 75 mph; has sure hands, choppy feet and a lengthy exchange. Showed an-over-the-top slot with a short arm action. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 7.48.
