C/OF Tre Wilson (Iola, 2026) continues to solidify himself as one of the top uncommitted prospects in the Sunflower State, offering a highly athletic and projectable skill set inside a wiry, 6-foot, 177-pound frame. A true switch-hitter with advanced feel from both sides of the plate, Wilson generated loud contact throughout his BP round—peaking at 98 mph exit velocity, averaging 88.6 mph, and sending his furthest ball 356 feet. Defensively, he showed versatility and arm strength, posting 1.84–1.94 pop times with an 80 mph arm from the crouch, while also reaching 88 mph from the outfield. He rounded out his toolset with a 6.84 60-yard dash, further showcasing his athleticism and all-around upside. Wilson is a high-priority follow in Kansas’ 2026 class.

C/OF Tre Wilson (Iola, 2026) continues to prove why he’s one of the top uncommitted prospects in the state’s 2026 class, delivering another standout performance during this look. Ranked as the No. 4 backstop in the state, Wilson showcased impressive arm strength and accuracy from behind the plate, posting pop times between 1.87 and 1.98 seconds with an 80 mph arm—both top marks of the day. His physicality was evident at the plate, as the 6-foot-1, 181-pound switch-hitter swung a quick, powerful barrel from both sides, generating effortless power. Wilson’s exit velocity peaked at 102.5 mph and with multiple 100+ mph barrels coming from both sides of the plate, Wilson is a name that coaches should have on their radar.

C/OF Tre Wilson (Iola, 2026) impressed our staff, showing loud tools on both sides of the ball in his Prep Baseball debut at Tuesday’s event. At 6-foot-1, 185-pounds, Wilson is packed with strength and athleticism, posting the day’s third best 60 time with a 6.69 mark and a 32.7” vertical. He swung a quick, loud barrel from both sides of the plate, reaching exit velocities upwards of 99.4 mph while averaging 91.1 mph per batted ball. He also barreled his best ball 364 feet - second best on the day. The junior shined defensively, reaching 88 mph from the outfield while also posting 1.85-1.88 pop times behind the plate thanks to a lightning quick transfer and strong, accurate arm.
