Hit: RHH. Athletic, even base, slight bend in the knees. Hands start by shoulder and load down. Quick coil and weight shift into back leg. Short, low leg lift to stride, lands closed off occasionally. Uphill swing path that looks to elevate the ball with power to all fields. Hands stay tight to body. Flashed advanced bat and hand speed as well as pull side pop. Pull to middle approach. 75.6 mph bat speed with 11 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 93 max exit velocity, averaged 79.6 mph. 341' max distance.
Arm: RH. C-86 mph. Short quick arm from a 3/4 slot. Throws flashed accuracy and carry. Advanced arm strength.
Defense: 1.88-1.96 pop times. Smooth, flexabile, athletic mover behind the plate. Quick footwork and clean transfer with quiet movements. Works in a half-kneeling stance. Strong blocking ability.

One of the biggest winners from this past weekend was C/INF William Howard (Basehor-Linwood, 2025), who is a high-follow, uncommitted athlete to know in the state of Kansas. At 6-foot-1, 190-pounds, Howard is plenty physical with strength throughout. Offensively, Howard showed bat speed and strength with the intent to elevate the baseball throughout his round, sending his furthest ball 344 feet. Behind the plate, the junior posted a top-3 pop time of 1.88-1.96 to go along with a 86 mph velocity - tops at the event. Additionally, Howard ran a 3.92 30.
Positional Profile: C/3B
Body: 6-1, 185-pounds. High-waisted build with a strong lower half and present athleticism.
Hits: RHH. Wide, slightly crouched stance with an open front foot. Pre-pitch rhythm in his hands. Quick toe-tap load and hip coil into a short stride, finishing on his back foot. Uphill swing plane, looking to elevate the ball. Quick hands that generate good extension at contact and through his finish. Shows some feel for the barrel. Mid/pull approach with line-drive and fly ball contact.
Power: 100 max exit velocity, averaged 80.9 MPH. 204' max distance. Flashes bat speed and pull-side power.
Arm: RH. C-83 mph. INF-87 mph.Short high-3/4 arm action. Above-average arm strength with carry and accuracy.
Defense: 2.01-2.08 pop times. Behind the plate, displays quick feet with framing and blocking ability. Clean exchanges and a developing release. Shows ability to thrown on a line from his knees. In the INF, fields out in front of his body with some lateral range and a clean glove.
