The uncommitted senior came out firing on all cylinders last Tuesday night against Mandeville and delivered an electric performance for the Tigers. From the first pitch and until his last, Andrade pitched with a purpose and conviction. His FB got up to 92 mph early and settled at 87-89 mph for the majority of the night. He also flashed two distint breaking balls; a 75-77 mph "11-5" shaped CB for strikes and a sweeping 80-81 mph SL with sharp & late bite down in the zone for swing and miss. Andrade ended up leading Holy Cross to the victory over the Skippers, after tossing a complete game no-hitter with only 2 BB's and 11 K's. To make matters even more interesting, the 6'0" 170 lbs. right-hander doesn't turn 18 years old for 7 more months, which means there's likely more in the tank.
