Hit: RHH. Open start in the box, weight distributed evenly. Bat starts up and stays through load. Short stride. Advanced hand speed with a quick bat. Swing stays on plane through the zone. Consistent hard, line drive contact to the pull-side. 70.1 mph bat speed with 17 G’s of rotational acceleration.
Power: 100 max exit velocity, averaged 93.8 mph. 316' max distance.
Arm: RH. OF-88 mph. Quick arm action, high 3/4 release.
Defense: Rhythmic footwork, glove plays out front.
ATH: 6.73 runner in the 60. 1.75 in the 10 yard split.
Vizual Edge: 78.53 Edge Score
Perhaps the day’s biggest standout was OF Wyatt Vincent (Nixa; Missouri State commit), as he thoroughly impressed in his PBR debut. Vincent, who’s slotted within the top-15 overall players on our state’s 2025 rankings, offers plenty of physical projection to come on a lean, lanky 5-foot-11, 172-pound frame. He stayed up the middle almost exclusively throughout BP, staying flat through the zone and peppering line drives from a loose, upside right-handed stroke. Vincent’s proven he can hit in-game previously as well, batting .375 with five home runs as a freshman for a 32-win Nixa squad last spring. Another thing to note is Vincent’s athleticism - he swiped 25 bags during the high school season and jumped 32.3” during our vertical test, which is a well above average mark for someone his age. We’re expecting more positive things from Vincent throughout 2023 and he certainly started his year off on a positive note.
Positional Profile: OF/RHP One of the top prospects in Missouri's 2025 class.
Body: 5-11, 172-pounds. Lean, athletic frame with plenty of room for future physical projection.
Hits: RHH. Tall stance with slight knee bend, hands start high and drift back slightly at load, short stride, easy balance and poise through contact. Loose whippy hands with easy rotation out of load. Barrel head works flat through the zone, stays on head and repeats in rhythm. Line drive approach with all-fields feel, top-of-the-order type profile with a high contact floor.
Power: 92 max exit velocity, averaged 81.8 MPH. 301' max distance.
Arm: RH. OF-80 mph. Short arm swing finishes from a high 3/4 slot.
Defense: Bouncy pre-pitch, fluid feet that move well and work in rhythm, plays through the baseball. Has the athletic profile to be a strong defender at the next level.
