The physical left-handed hitter starts in a wide and athletic stance, firm base. Utilizes a toe-tap in his stride, stays on time. Hands have a sudden movement directly backwards in his load, creating hip/shoulder separation. Advanced feel for the barrel with gap-to-gap power. Behind the plate, recorded pop times ranging from 1.92-1.95 seconds with a top velo of 78 MPH on throws. Crisp actions, quick transfers with accurate throws.

At the plate, starts in an even and balanced stance. Quiet load with a toe tap. Hands move down and back with a slight bat wrap. Uphill trajectory in his bat path. Gets on plane and has the ability to drive the ball in the gaps. Behind the dish, recorded pop times ranging from 1.95-2.03 seconds with a top throwing velocity of 75 MPH. Strong arm, quick transfers, all throws right on the bag.
5-foot-10, 200lb durable, strong frame; 7.7 runner in the 60 yard dash. At the plate, Schooley works a straight up stance with some rigidness in the lower half. Keeps the back elbow high with a tipped barrel behind his head. Pushes the hands backward and uses a slide out on the front foot to load the body. Swings uphill, staying very connected throughout the swing; barreled balls to the pull side while also being able to take them the other way. Registered an 88 MPH max exit velo in his round of BP. Behind the plate, Schooley sits in a comfortable crouch and receives with a light glove that sticks the pitch nicely. Gains a lot of ground out of the crouch by jumping toward the target on his foot switch, also works a very fast exchange which aids in his exceptional pop time. Popped a 1.92-1.95 paired with a 76 MPH arm strength from the crouch. Very projectable backstop with developing high level skills.

Behind the plate, showed his ability to throw runners out with an efficient pop time of 1.98-2.05.

He recorded a time of 8.39 in the 60-yard dash.
